Welcome to Grand China. Both my husband, Mr. K. C. Chang & I, Mrs. Tse-Chih Chang are so excited to have the opportunity to introduce you the really good gourmet Asian Cuisine.
We both grew up in the Gourmet Chinese Cuisine environment because our mothers are the best cook in the world. I remembered that ever since I was a little girl, I liked to stay in the kitchen for hours just to watch my mom cook.
It was so fascinating to watch her to turn some fresh vegetables, meat, natural herbs and spices into delicious gourmet dinner in such a natural and graceful manner. It is almost like magic that every thing can turn into a wonderful meal through her talented hands. I love her cooking so much.
I told my mom over and over again that I wanted to learn every secrete recipe from her. It was her dream to open her own restaurant for her whole life.
Unfortunately, 8 children and busy social life had kept her so busy that her dream never came true.
Mr. Chang’s mom can cook wonderful Szechuan cuisine. We both grew up in Taiwan and came to USA to go to Graduate School. In 1976, we got married in Atlanta. In 1977, we started our 1st Chinese Restaurant Panda Inn on P’tree Rd in Midtown.
It got so many good reviews from Atlanta Journal Constitution and Gazat and became so successful.
In 1978, we sold Panda Inn and opened Grand China on P’tree Rd. in Buckhead till now.
Grand China now is a very successful and reputable restaurant in Atlanta. As a matter of fact, it is one of the oldest and most well-established Gourmet Asian Restaurant and land mark in Atlanta.
We have served the guests from all over the USA and world. We have received numerous great reviews from Zagat National Excellent Restaurant Award, Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, Creative Loafine, Buckhead Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronical, Channel 46 Restaurant Tour, Gazat, Southern Living, Southern Food Service.
